Learn the Basics of Aikido

You will be able to understand the basic movements of Aikido through this 4-class program.



Make Friends Who Start Together

You will make friends who are starting Aikido at the same time, allowing you to encourage each other and continue practicing together.

– Born in 1987

– 2010: Encountered Aikido while hitchhiking in New Zealand as a student, and began practicing upon returning to Japan

– 2010: Joined a major IT company

– 2012: Joined a venture company and contributed to its listing on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

– 2020: Involved in hospital management in Cambodia

– 2021: Returned to Japan and took over as Head Instructor of the Aikido dojo

– 2022: Started a YouTube channel

– 2023: Taught Aikido in Germany and Switzerland

Anyone can start as long as they enjoy moving their body.

 

The training can be somewhat rigorous, but once you get used to it, even people in their 60s can easily keep up with the practice.

 

Furthermore, 90% of our new members are complete beginners to martial arts.

For adults, it is 1,600 to 2,500 yen per class. For children, it is 1,100 to 2,000 yen.

Parents and children can participate together in the Sunday classes. We offer a discount for parent-child participation (typically 500 yen off the adult fee).

In Aikido, the goal is not to defeat an opponent by hurting them, but rather to harmonize with their energy, guide them, and control the situation.

 

Furthermore, because you always practice with a partner rather than alone, you learn how to cooperate—an essential skill for everyday social life.
